Welcome to Sweeping Our Own Porch (S.O.O.P), a non-profit organization committed to fostering the development and empowerment of adolescent students. At S.O.O.P, we embrace the principles of self-discipline, self-love, personal development, and mental wellness. Our belief is rooted in the understanding that every individual is "perfectly imperfect".
Our mission is to empowers adolescent girls to develop emotional awareness, communication skills, and confidence by teaching them how to express their needs, speak their truth, and navigate difficult conversations with courage and compassion. Through healing-centered mentorship and peer-supported environments, we interrupt generational silence and strengthen family relationships, beginning with the mother–daughter bond.
With S.O.O.P, we envision a community where mothers and daughters heal together, strengthening emotional bonds and passing forward a legacy of confident, emotionally aware, and empowered womanhood.
